Annie Clover’s Curved Illusions 35, 36 from Virtual Quilter

I don’t think I would like a dark quilt on my bed, but I love these designs anyway.

My favourite is the second one … even if I didn’t like it on my bed I could put in a spare bed!

Love it. Warm colouring, space for quilting, unusual applique and interesting pieces!

Annie Clover’s Curved Illusions 31, 32 from Virtual Quilter

No illusion of pieced curves in the first design, but look at the quilting.

Now there are illusions of curves in both pieced and quilting areas of the design.

Annie Clover’s Curved Illusions 27, 28 from Virtual Quilter

I knew the block I used was constructed with straight seams, but I had to look twice at the ‘curves’ to make sure I had drawn them correctly!

Still look like curves, but had to look closely to see some of the applique. I didn’t want them to be too bright and clear in the outer part of the design, but went a bit too far!
